President's Message

Hi Everyone
Well we started 2010 with our elections. The results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on March 18. 2010.

We had a very successful 2009 with two major conferences and our Business Meeting. We provided CEU's for both CPHQ,NHA, and Nursing. Going forward, the Board has decided not to apply for Nursing CEU's. PSNA have revised thier requirements for credentials for those who are considered Nurese Planners. We do not have the educational credentials in the organization that meet the new requirements. We went back and reviewed the PSNA accepted organizations and they do accept CEU's from NAHQ. The only issue is that PSNA may not except the entire number of CEU"s approved so please make sure that you have additional credits that you submit to cover this possiblity. Make sure that you save all the handouts from any presentation in case you are audited.

We have also partnered with Disney Keys for Excellent and have supported 2 conferences in 2009 and 1 so far in 2010. We will continue to partner with them since is gives us exposure in our region and across the state. I am expecting them to have a conference in this area in the fall.

We are doing very well fiancially and will continue to update the organization on any issues that might arise. We have continured to update the website and add new information. All Board minutes are posted on the website.
